  • aromas of rubber balloon, apricot, beeswax. On the palate sweet and sour orange, peach, tang, bitter acidity. The finish starts out soft and sweet but gains a salty thickness. This is an interesting wine and one I feel will reward cellaring

  • Deep golden color, quite elegant, well developed with hints of apricots, syrup and a bit bitter and raspy (which, I think, is the trademark of Jurançon. )
A nice finish to a wonderful dinner at the Schwarzwaldstube of traube Tonbach.
My most favorite wines of that evening were the champagne from Jacquesson and the Volnay. Both well above average.
