One of two bottles I pulled out for a Lenten dinner with friends. This wine has crisp acidity but also a depth of flavors. It was the preferred of the two but both were great with the pasta.

PnP followed over two hours. Fresh, with a med(-) body, with the mineral influence slightly dominating that of the fruit element; on the nose, and the palate. This was served (and more or less maintained) at ~ 50F, a temp I found enjoyable for this particular wine. This rosé is a saignée blend of Grenache Gris (90%) Mourvèdre (5%), and Carignan (5%). Here, the grapes are harvested partially by hand. and partially by machine. Initial fermentation is at a controlled temp for ~ a month; malo is blocked, for obvious reasons. For the price, this has been a go-to wine for casual settings both here, and while in the region during extended periods. I think of it as a "better bistro wine", and have always appreciated its food friendly nature, as well as its refreshing qualities when serving as an aperitif. Easily recommended; now, and the next several years.

Light pink hue with a twinge of orange. Nice red fruit nose-- raspberry, strawberry. Same with taste. Nice balance. Terrific rose at a reasonable price.

My favorite rose, so well made and so good with food. Aging with grace and power.

Great, fresh rose for the spring and summer. Medium light body, great acidity, good fruit without being in your face.
