  This wine has aged quite gracefully. Tasted alongside 10 other Pinots/Burgs ranging from 2007 back to 1982. This fell into the top 3 spot of many of the folks in attendance.
  
  Color was pretty faded and the nose was quite funky initially upon opening. The nose indicated that there wasn't much fruit left, but once on the palate it was still showing some nice dark sour cherry with many layers of complexity. Acidity was still very good. Medium finish that showed many undertones that were very pleasant. This wine has encouraged me to seek out older pinots/burgs.
