  • Better than expected, but still past its prime, but still ok. Scratched an itch for an old Bordeaux.

  • I have very little experience with wines older than 10 years, particularly Bordeaux, but I would have to say that this wine is past its prime. It poured a rusty brown and fairly translucent color. The nose was overwhelmingly that of mushroom and earth. The taste was exactly the same with little to no complexity. It was by no means undrinkable. I very much appreciate an earthy and fungal wine (maybe not to this extent) and I finished the bottle. This may perhaps be some people's cup of tea, but it is not really mine, though, had I opened this a few years ago, I think I probably would have enjoyed it thoroughly.

  • May by this is a bad bottle. The color is a little off. I feel cheated bu Invino. I think they just dump bad wine. This is one of the worst wines I have ever tasted. It i snot vinegar but it tastes like old juice. I am throwing this bottle out. From now on, only buying ct reviewed wines.
