  Clean, crisp, and electric. Not too sweet in a more modern sort of way but I love the lightness and acidic zip here. So easy to drink.

  Electric, taut, and laser-like precision and intensity. Some herbal qualities with a lemon verbena note. Not too intense on the palate, nor too sweet. Love what Wittmann is doing with the Kabinetts these days.

  Very stylistic of the vintage. As with most 2021s, this Kabinett was barely off dry, with the RS taking off the sharp acidic edges. Quite aromatic nose, some leesy yeast character along with white fruit and orchard fruit, slight sulfuric nose upon opening as well. Palate showing good intensity of white peaches, preserved lemons, and some lean tropical fruit. Still stupidly young as there is the structure for ageing to help calm the sharp edges. Time helped the wine in the glass and ultimately it’s drinking quite nicely (esp with food) and brought a good amount of joy for a killer price. Solid Kabinett that would work as a cellar defender (and potentially gem down the line as with most 2021 Kabs). There isn’t enough purity or concentration of fruit to stand out against some of the other 2021 German Rieslings that I have tried, but this is still a beautiful wine. 92+

  Tremendous Kabinett and a wine where I definitely need to buy more. There's a core of tart pear/white peach/citrus fruits layered with floral and mineral notes; there's impressive intensity to the flavours but at the same time a sense of remarkable lightness thanks to the bracing acids here. Just wish it didn't come in the heavy oversized GG bottle.

  [Pop and pour. Cool not cold.] Wow! A stunning Kabinett. Gorgeously perfumed nose of white flowers and tart peaches. Great balance in the mouth. Refreshingly tart fruit and flowers in the mouth and the long complex finish. I don't know how this will age, but it is so delicious now.
