My wine of the night at the L&W Italian tasting, from a producer new to me. This is my favourite of Manzone's bottlings and it has it all: heady florals (rose, sweet herbs), textbook strawberry and tar, intense and concentrated on the palate and has the bones for ageing. Would LOVE to try this from a more auspicious vintage. Great value too
