Limestone soil along the coast. Fermented at low temperature in stainless steel. Citrus and floral nose. Elegant on the palate. Less creamy than the Casa Marin. While the Laberinto is all about acidity and minerality at high intensity and the Casa Marin is varietally correct but fuller, this one is more about floral, fruity notes with a bit of minerality and lots of elegance. It has a 2.88 PH, but it’s still not enamel ripping acid like the Laberinto. Light and easy with pretty floral and lemony notes. Same intensity as the Casa Marin, but lighter and a lot less of the green notes. Less obviously Sauvignon Blanc but just an excellent white. 93+

Retail $25. Under agglomerated stopper (non-DIAM). Quite light in the glass, with a grassy, tart, nutty, citrus-laden nose, and plenty of minerality. Yup, this is more reminiscent of a New Zealand-style Sauvignon Blanc than the French counterpart. The palate is tart and fantastic with that fruit, a distinct flint note, and more than a bit of verve. While Sauvignon Blanc is far from my preferred variety, this is yet another Chilean SB that is quite compelling.
Pale lemon color. Aromatically this is citrus-infused brightness with lemon and limes, topped in celery seed, white flowers and sea salt. Focused and crisp on the palate, light and vibrant with flavors of lemon and orange peel. Notes of sliced green onion and mint, some chalk dust and dandelion. Crisp, punchy, light and salad-friendly goodness.

Muted nose and with some spicy tropical fruit which follows through on the ripe, medium bodied palate.
