Very nice red Rhône blend from the Sierra foothills. 55% Grenache, 19% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre and 11% Carignane. Light purple in the glass, tart berry, some tobacco and violet on the nose. Fruit forward style, with the berry hitting first. Really nice, mid weight wine. Drank very enjoyably on its own. Great QPR, around $25 for the bottle. Holly’s Hill is a reputable producer in the foothills.
