Last bottle of the night and most other folks had shifted to whiskey so it was mostly me consuming this wine. There’s an almost slightly savory note to it in addition to the darker red fruits. Spicy. It’s drinking nicely. Light and easy and I’d say less depth perhaps than my favorite wines but very drinkable.

Saturday Night Preserved Dinner | St Augustine Food + Wine Festival (Preserved Restaurant): Credit was given to Eyrie for introducing them to Pinot Meunier as a red. I had my first one many years ago from Domaine Chandon (at a Capital Grille of all places) and continue to like it as a wine that packs a good QPR and is interesting. I've always been a fan. Like others in the brethren this is spicy and yet lighter bodied. Went very nicely with the charcuterie.
