The garganella grapes from which this up was made did not come from the Du Lot vineyard that was explanted in 2017. Instead, the grapes come from an adjacent vineyard exposed in the same way, vinified in the style used for the old Du Lot bottles. Chamomile, honey and pineapple on the nose. Cantaloupe melon and almonds. In the mouth it is full and enveloping, almost oily. There are elegant vanilla and fruit flavors. To be tried again in a few years.
