The wine is better on day 2, so it needs aeration. Tropical fruits, melon, yellow apples, nice acidity and salinity. Very concentrated but slightly oxidised. High quality Garganega.

My third one since release and in this particular vintage this seems to be at an ideal maturity in this moment. I know these can age, and how beautiful they can become, but I'm not seeing the material for an extended cellaring. Now or in the next several years for my preference. recommended
Golden yellow, poured at 10-11 deg. Celsius.a bit too cold for this one. It took some time in the glass to open, but that gave me time to prep my shrimp sandwich, and I'm slow at that (my yearly attempt to aquire the taste ). Yellow apple , citrus, slight honey , oak. The palate is deliciously balanced, med+ acid, tart, honey, almond and ripe fruit. It almost gave me a fizzy champagne-like mouthfeel! A good helper on my quest to aquire the taste for shellfish, but also delicious on its own or with snacks!

PnP that's totally in the zone just now. Slightly more honeyed nose than my preferred vintages of this wine, but given the dinner with friends, this was emptied even faster than one I'd have shepherded had I had it just on my own. So that's a win. My guests thought so, anyway. This shows the place/complexity and depth that this bottling has become known for; that said, no need to wait (and I know many can go the distance), it's already a winner. For the $34 I paid, and for the pleasure it brought my guests, it's highly recommended. Now, and the next 5-6 years.
