Very pale, clear red, not far off a dark rosé. Light but unusual aroma, something fleshy and herbaceous, like a scented pelargonium. Dry taste, modest tannin, a bit of raspberry. Quite pleasant and delicate, unusual, but not quite my sort of thing. Worth trying, and maybe best with grilled tuna or something. [Unknown closure but not screwcap; 13.5% abv; Woodwinters, £14].

Pale. Light. Lovely nose of ripe dark cherry, also a rugged earthy character. Fresh acid. Good value.
