Wines over Chinese New Year; 2/8/2024-2/12/2024: 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay. Disgorged Oct 2022, 5g/l dosage. A clearly Pinot-heavy champagne with rich red apple fruit and a broad texture. Some cinnamon spice and toffee notes. Too much natural vibes and not enough cut for me.

Pnp in Zalto glass, then retasted the next day. Nice pale coper hue. Nose of cold brioche, lighbred yeast, a rich style probably. The palate is more straight, fresh and structured with a core of discrete rasberry from the leaves; fine and really alive. Excellent now and could be cellared two years. Made in Verzy, 80% pinot noir, 20% chardonnay, 15% oaked, disgorged october 2022, dosage 5g/l.

Pnp at noon and finish up at night. Blend of 80% PN, 20% C. From 50% 2020, 30% 2019, 20% 2018, vinification 15% oak, 85% SS. Disgorged 10/2022, Dosage 5g/l. In the face aromas of red apple, chalk, orange peel, lemon curd, full body on the palate lot of flavors going on with a lingering pronounced finish. First spotted this producer when a som rated this the copin BdB higher than many other big names grower champagne in a blind tasting. Really like the style of this producer and looking forward to trying the other labels.
