  • A gem. Balanced fruit, stone and roasted herb nose. Forward black cherry with a solid acidic structure is just right on palate. Earlier review mentioned clove and tea and they are totally right, it's all wrapped together nicely

  • Classic Sojourn. Abundant balanced fruit with a smooth zest. Great finish. Should be good for a number of years.

  • My first of the '21 Rodgers Creek....pnp'd and enjoyed over about 5 hours pre and post dinner. Medium ruby in the glass, not quite opaque.

Immediately recognizable Sojourn nose given the vanilla/spicy clove of their barrel treatment. Red fruited nose, maybe some sweet mint, too. Each glass poured did best when it rose to room temp and had about 1 good hour of air. It really settled in, with each glass. Soft black tea accompanying the strawberry/cherry fruit. Surely this will go quite a while given the great acidic backbone but it's so very nice now with an hour of air.....great qpr at about $44/bottle.
