A nice value at $13, but wouldn't have pegged it as Chardonnay blind. Rhone-esque, with notes of Honeydew melon and ripe peach leading the way, with just enough acidity to keep it feeling fresh. A tad spritzy on PnP.

A slightly flinty but interesting first impression, followed by a lighter-than-usual Chardonnay taste. Definitely dry. Not as fruity as some might like, but a satisfying summer sipper (God, I hate that term but it applies here). I can see it easily pairing with most grilled seafood, poultry, and especially, corn.

Note to self: drink more South African Chardonnay! This was very good Chardonnay, especially for less than $20. Slightly more opulent and rich than French, not quite as full bodied as California, this was a fun middle of the road version of Chardonnay. Went very well with food, but could easily be enjoyed on its own. Will buy again, for sure.
