Pale lemon colour. Medium and developing nose with ripe yellow apples, ripe lemon, rosehip, charred wood and walnuts. Medium taste of ripe yellow apples, lemon, rosehip, cream, charred wood and walnuts. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good South-African Chardonnay. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well with fish or shellfish.

Apparently Clos de Mouches cuttings from the 1970s. A salty twang of minerality to it. And limestone and mineral on the palate as well. Good stuff. Works it out at $19.99 or so.

Amazing unabashed chard. Malolactic richness. Apple on nose. Crisp and clean.
