  • Grenache, Petite Sirah, Syrah. Aged in oak. 225 cases made. 80% aged in American oak. 20% new. The nose shows mostly dark berry fruit with a some mesquite, toasty oak. The palate has that dark fruit (like Syrah and Petite Sirah) but the softness of Grenache. Some spice on the back-end. Low-acid, but not lacking in freshness. Drinks more like a Zin if anything but nothing overdone. Not my style with a little more oak than I prefer and not enough acid, but would be great with BBQ.
