Tasted during Bottles & Bottles Brand Showcase 2023 with more than 120 wines for tasting. Only managed to taste 86 wines over 4 hours and I don’t have enough time to write tasting notes. Only my own personal rating.

Deep ruby to almost purple in color; cherries and herbs on the nose; tastes like pomegranates; high acidity; medium tannins with a long finish. Not very flavorful, not very complex, but not bad.

Thin and acidic with a lean scratchy mouthfeel and very little fruit. Sadly, the chickens scratching around in the dirt on the label are all too appropriate. Difficult to believe Famille Perrin have anything to do with this mean-spirited effort. £7.50.

Light, dry, nicely balanced paired well with pork and chicken kebabs
