Tasted in a restaurant on Crete. Initially some nail polish notes, but dissipated with some aeration. Red berry fruit with mineral notes of iron, smoke and meaty flavors (dried meat). Juicy red-fruited palate with soft tannin. This showed nice and works perfectly in a hot environment.

Enjoyed at a wine bar in Athens called Vinif3era. Fun with enough complexity to savor and appreciate.
(Served properly slightly chilled. Incidentally, Vinif3era was a very nice wine bar with knowledgeable and friendly staff. I tried a couple white wines (<= 4 euros for 75ml) from Greece which were also good, and I saw at least one came from a Coravin, so I knew this place was careful with their by the glass wines and not just leaving them to oxidize.)

This is a very good wine. Its dry, with high acidity, high chalky tannins, medium + body, and high alcohol. This is a 2019 vintage. It has good balance between the medium+ intensity of the flavors and aromas with the high acidity . It has good complexity flavors and aromas of linden blossom, red fruits (cranberry, raspberry, red cherry) herbaceous notes like black current leaves, some interesting tertiary aromas like tree moss, meat or game and mushroom or wet leaves. There's also a nutty character like hazelnut. The oak is subtle but noticeable. It has a medium long finish. It is drinkable now but will age well.

Tour of Turkey & Greece; 4/16/2022-5/10/2022 (Restaurants in Turkey & Greece; on our ship touring the Greek Isles; at the Argyros Winery): From a bottle purchased at the winery and enjoyed the next day. Decanted for 30 minutes as the initial tasting showed low fruit and high acidity. Aromas of dark fruit, oak and a touch of spice. All of these follow on to the medium bodied palate along with minerality and earth. The last glass was the best (re: balance between fruit and acidity, and integration of tannins) indicating that the wine needs more time in cellar and/or more decanter time.
