Tried this over two days. There was something kind of “off” about this. Maybe it could have been corked or otherwise defective. I’ll have to try another bottle to see what we think.

An interesting wine and a new addition to the Carter lineup. Merlot/ Cabernet Franc blend. Dark blue purple color with a fragrant nose. Plate wise, dark berry fruits, blueberry black and boysenberry fruits make a for smooth wine that could go places with some cellaring. This one might have something to offer down the road however, it's not my preferred type of red.
