  • Another big PVG experience.

Mega reductive in the beginning with notes of fireworks, struck matchstick and roasted sesame and lots of lemon peel. It opens up for aromas of ripe peach, mild pineapple, apple, brioche, fresh fennel, Danish remonce-filled “frøsnapper”, lemon curd, hints of soured dairy product, roasted hazelnuts and whipped butter. While there’s a mild green touch, a bit of oak and some leesy notes, the minerality is incredible - big chalky notes.
Quite big and powerful on the palate, without being heavy or creamy at all. A perfect, electric, razor-sharp acidity, a green dryness from the slow-press and super delicate chalky and saline minerals. Lots of citrus - especially pomelo + lemon peel and juice - crispy green apple, salted butter, mild smokiness, ripe peach and a mild umami touch of hard, salt cheese.

Intense, lean and pure. Less bombastic for being a Meursault.
Incredible minerality and amazing reductiveness that stays until last sip. Just impressive!
    1er Cru level…
