Pine needles, juniper berries, dill, lemon peel, orange peel on the nose. Does all that herbaceousness come from the skins? The palate is totally different. It’s spicier, dominated by cumin and white pepper and adds a note of ripe melon. Medium + intensity of both flavors and aromas.
Creamy texture and big for Grüner. Medium + body, medium + acid. Overall a fun experiment in maceration. Drink now.

3/14/2023 - DrDave88 Likes this wine:
Nose: herbal/dill notes, green, but also some fruit
Palate: citrusy/appley, lightly grippy tannins, good acidity. Good match to moules marinieres
Day 2: stone fruit joining in on nose, really nice, yellow stone fruit
