PnP. Pale straw colour. The nose is quite intense with fresh notes of lychee, grapefruit, pineapple and lemon zest. The palate follows the nose. Notes of aging on the lees. Light-to-medium body, high yet pleasant acidity. A little bit nervous and edgy on the palate now. Touch of bitterness at the end. Lingering juicy finish. A nice wine, even if very young to fully enjoy now. DIAM 10 cork hints it can transform into something special after a few more years.

Notes of pear, citrus, and peach with uplifting acidity and a lovely, lingering seabreeze finish. Well structured and more robust than the pale straw yellow color would imply. I've never had Grillo before. This one reminds me of a sauv blanc by way of pinot grigio but picking up some earthy herbs along the way.
Not sure if this is the holotype for the grape, but I love it.

The nose is inviting, with whiffs of botanicals, grapefruit and saline minerality. The palate is fresh and invigorating. There's coolness under the fruit flavours and a fresh finish that is precise and dry.

Spicy pear aromas and flavours. Good supporting acid. A pleasant food wine. Good food wine. Good to try.
