  (Bottle from the early 1980s)
  Lovely orange colour with streams with very fine bubbles slowly rising in the glass. Maturing nose showing dark orange chocolate, hints of truffles and some herbs in a delicious combination. Mature palate showing strawberry jam and mint chocolate with a pleasant creaminess on the mid and a gentle mandarin zest bitterness on the pleasant finish. Delicious!
  (Still very fresh and intense with 40 years in the cellar)

  (Disgorged in the 1980s with a base from early or mid-1980s, 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay)
  Mature pale orange red colour with fine streams of bubbles showing in the glass. Opens up with a mature nose showing honey, red berries and minerals, and with time in the glass showing dark chocolate and some orange zest. Smoothing yellow apples acidity with a hint of raspberries on the mid before the lengthy finish. This is still very nice and fresh and drinking very well tonight with salmon pasta!

  Au restaurant.
  Robe rose soutenu, bulles fines, arômes de fraises et de fraises des bois.
  Vif au palais, structuré, brut.
  Très bon Champagne rosé, parfait avec le saumon fumé.

  Enjoyed. Pretty well balanced. Easy drinking, not overly acidic and soft red fruit. Very affordable and a crowd pleaser.
