Apparently Gaja doesn't give the breakdown of varietals. Blend of Chardonnay and SB. Named after the second child in the family. Punchy in the mid-palate, showing off its SB character. Good weight across the mid palate showing its Chardonnay.

Freshly mown lawn and Sauvignon Blanc notes predominate. A bit of Chardonnay-like linearity in the structure. Kind of schizophrenic, but enjoyable.

Annual Pilgrimage to Piedmont - 2023 Edition; 10/20/2023-10/22/2023 (Piedmont, Italy): Young and at the moment a wall of wood. Really the oak here is full on dominant and overshadows the fruit. The wine is good but just one dimensional for now. Patience here is needed and maybe some hope. 88 for now

A rather exciting and extremely young wine brimming with Sb-character today. Acidity is too low for my taste.
Has a bit of stuffing in it and may become more interesting as it matures.
This type of WAKARANAI posh wine is not for me...
