24 hour decant, lightly stoppered in a 1L Chianti bottle (the other decanters are in use for wine) This is becoming slightly more tawny with time (shock!) - still somewhat plummy, but those honey, nutty notes are starting to develop nicely - long, slightly warm finish - nice.

Drunk over 2 days form D+4. Best after 18 hours. Lots of sludge. Pretty much the same as last time - this is a very plummy port - round and smooth, gentle heat, nice finish - good value.

Slightly brown on purple - stewed fruit in the nose, slightly spicy, thick in the mouth - excellent balance - blackberry jam made with brown sugar - gentle warmth - long finish - very nice, especially at the price - drinking well now, but a lot more years in it.

2013 Port Harvest Tour; 9/27/2013-10/6/2013 (Porto, Portugal): Purple in color. Almost opaque. Some cherry notes and hints of violets on the nose. Balanced dark fruit and balanced tannins and acidity on the finish.
