WSET2 Course Notes; 10/22/2023-11/5/2023 (WineHouse, Los Angeles): Appearance: Pale lemon. Nose: Medium+ intensity. Gooseberry, grapefruit, green apple, a little ammonia, blossom, jasmines, wet sand and stone. Surprisingly, petrol. Palate: Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol and body. Strong mineral water note, almost salt, lime, grapefruit. Medium+ finish with a lot of lime juice and salinity. Very good wine, my favourite of the day. 9+/18

Pale straw colour in the glass. Floral and sweet aroma of orange blossom and passion fruit. Palate is soft and wide with lemon, apple and stone/minerality with long citrus finish. Medium acidity and overall I found this wine wanting and very lean. There are way better Eden Valley Rieslings available for half the cost, particularly for such a fantastic vintage year. It does have good acidity so expect it to develop and mature as it just could be too young right now.

The acidity is too high and unbalanced. Way too expensive.
