  • 2019 Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon STAGS LEAP DISTRICT, NAPA VALLEY

Try pairing with a Porchetta Pork Roast

Stags Leap District, known for its Cabernet Sauvignon, is an incredible part of the valley. 2019 was no exception, bringing a long, warm summer and mild finish to the season. Mother Nature managed to bring a little drama with its drawn out harvest season, which helped preserve freshness with a long hang time to produce color, structure and tannins. We are delighted to add this well balanced and structured wine to our line up.

AROMA: The first sniff of the glass has the alluring smell of mixed berry cobbler, with some lovely all spice, cedar, cigar box and a hint of red earth aromas.
FLAVOR: Lovely, juicy red berry pie characteristics interwoven with cedar and cocoa. The complexity and density of this wine will age gracefully and please those who open it while it's in its youth.
    COMPOSITION: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
AGING: 14 months in French Oak (38% new)
DRINKING WINDOW: Drink now through 2040
    VEGAN: Yes.
    ALCOHOL: 15.4%
    CASES: 350
