  Definitely tasty, although never really hit its stride for me, neither the super bouncy/fun style nor the more serious/dense style, just kind of a slightly less-exciting medium. It's well-made, just not totally what I'm looking for in Beaujolais.
  
  Nose started a little austere with peppery/herbal tones, almost smelling like reduction, thankfully blowing off a bit to show a bunch of tart strawberry. Palate is pretty much all tart strawberry, energetic and fun but also very simple, and lacking just a touch of ripeness to really meet the acidity. I thought it might need some time, but it didn't last very well into day 2, with a lot of the fruit falling away. Really nice an hour after opening, not as exciting before or long after that.
