Ripe fruit with just a trace of nutmeg in the background on the nose. Ripe plum and red fruit flavors. Not too exciting by itself, I can see this pairing well with a pork or fowl dish.

I've had a couple of wines from Tasmania and I wasn't overly impressed. This one on the other hand is actually pretty good. A very nice nose, slightly fruity with some cherry on the palette. A very good value compared to some other Pinot Noir of equal or lesser caliber.

Customer is the Critic! (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had rhubarb, cherry, spice, and a little vanilla. The palate was smooth, and had cherry, rhubarb, earth, and a nice oaky finish.
