Quality with Respect to Price: Chateau Armens St. Emilion Grand Cru 2020 is typically recognized for delivering high-quality Merlot-based Bordeaux at a price that reflects its Grand Cru status. It offers considerable complexity and structure that should justify its cost.
Maturity with Respect to Ageing: This wine, while impressive in its youth for its power and depth, will undoubtedly benefit from several years of cellaring. It has the potential to evolve and mature gracefully over the next 10-15 years, possibly longer.
Food and Wine Pairing: Ideal with rich meat dishes such as beef bourguignon, lamb shoulder, or duck confit. The wine's structure and depth also make it suitable for pairing with aged hard cheeses.

Made of deep, dark, teeth-staining stuff. Limited bouquet but saturated palate and very herbaceous. Predominantly Merlot (85%) but the Cabernet Franc (15%) really takes center stage and dominates the entire profile from beginning to end. Cassis, blackcurrants, red & black berries, mild oak, garigue and firm tannins. This wine will live for another 10 - 15 years if properly stored. Excellent value!
