(disgorged 5/2022) Nose of lightly toasted nuts. Palate of brioche, lemon bar, yeast, and pecans. Nice acidity cut on the finish with honeycomb and a very active mousse, ending with vanilla bean and almonds.

(Eric Rodez Champagne Grand Cru Cuvée des Crayères) Light medium straw yellow color with abundant, steady bubbles; aromatic, almond, light hazelnut, graham cracker, autolytic nose with a hint of lemon; complex, layered, lemon, almond, hazelnut palate with good balancing acidity; medium-plus finish (not really 2022 but a blend of vintages Lot L 05-22; 12% alcohol; composition sparkling wine cork)

With some green notes to the nose in a pretty way. Crisp and fresh and vibrant. Lots of depth while being light and elegant.
