This was probably past it's prime (annoyingly), I picked it up in September at the SAQ in Montreal and when I brought it home was aghast that the drinking window according to Robert Parker and CT was well past the recommended 2005. So now a bit of a curiousity, it was deep, deep gold in colour, extreme viscosity and concentration, surprisingly still very strong notes of sweet flowers and honey on the nose, the first sip had a faint hint of mushroom, but thereafter every sip was an adventure in complexity and texture, the finish was magnificently long on the palate. This was fantastic, but would have probably been fresher and a bit less cloying a couple of years ago (91 Points).

What an explosion of spice and fruit in the bottle. There was a hint of lime and ginger mixed with the exotic green fruit, nose was ripe and finish long enough, but as a food wine this is hard to beat- with heirloom tomatoes and fresh mozarella in Rosengarten Manzanillo olive oil and lemon juice it really worked.

Enjoyable as usual. The nose is a bit disappointing again relative to the one I had a few months ago but it was very nice in the mouth. Dry, crisp and full of apricots and flowers. Everyone liked it. Better to drink now if you have any before the aroma fades further due to age/bad storage, etc.

Golden yellow color. Musky perfumes of honeysuckle. On the palate, exotic fruits and honey melon. Quite good.
