Pale straw and golden hue. Nose is classical, with notes of white orchard fruit, citrus, and touches of smoke and wood influence. A bit of cooking spices. On the palate, this has decent body for a Bourgogne, with sappy white fruit and citrus notes (fitting with the nose), and a lifting almost electric acidity and mineral core. Mid palate has nice dry extract and the finish is balanced, clean, and mouth watering. Really impressive stuff for it’s level and plenty of structure for this to last. Drinks at village level IMO. Hard to find, and somewhat priced accordingly, but this does not disappoint.

Lovely green tinged color. Some evident reduction here mixed with all kinds of citrus and greener fruit flavors. No great depth to the fruit. Bright acid.Good freshness. The finish kicks in with real length, intensity of citrus notes, minerality and relatively well managed reduction. At $60 this is now no longer in any sense a cheap wine but the wine punches above its weight as a lowly Bourgogne. I would rate this more highly than many village level wines based on the finish alone. But the level of reduction is right on the borderline for my taste.

This is tasty! Punches well above its weight. Salty, and bright, this is a thirst quenching and delicious wine for sure.
