Day 1: Ruby red with deeper core. Red fruits on the nose, with a vinyl component I have found in the last few Roagna wines I've tasted. Pretty rich on the palate, good extraction, but needing to settle. Seemed to be a good example of a wine to try over multiple nights. Poured into a clean empty 375ml to the top and vac'd up for the next day.
Day 2: Coming together better. Pool liner smell dissipated, still present, but only slight. Good clean fruit, but falling short now. From the mid palate to the finish, it drops off quickly.
Certainly ready. Not bad, but by no means great. My only bottle. Not worth the $44 I paid.
