  Nice surprise. Ruby red color, no signs of bricking. Popped and poured: some dark cherry and blackberry fruit on the nose. Still tannic but some fruit and dust on the palate make this interesting. Medium to medium full body. Bright acidity. Slightly past its peak but should continue to drink well for another year or two. Would probably benefit from a steak or rich sauce to pair it with.
