2 years in oak. Medium plus nose shows very interesting notes, fresh dates, spice, banana bread (?), dried red fruits. Palate shows both big structure and developed fruit, fruit feels older but structure feels young, nose is more interesting overall, should develop nicely.

Transparent, medium garnet colour. Medium intensity nose of dried berry, chestnut, leather, flint, and earthy mineral. Elegant and integrated palate with a well-balanced finish. 4/5

Upping my score here. Drank at home. 3hr decant, Riedel Riesling Performance glass. Expressive nose of blue/black fruit, minerals, and flowers. Clean drinking with lively acidity and silky tannins. I think this is exactly what I imagined to be the archetype of red wine as a growing boy. Pinot-esque at times for nose and flavor, but more structure.

At Le Bernardin, paired with Grilled Hiramasa; Roasted Maitake, Bone Marrow-Red Wine Bordelaise. Blew me away, surpassing expectations for something 5 years old. This is in the drinking window right now. Balanced throughout palate, minimal grip but good structure. Beautiful fruit.
Lovely, open, and fragrant, this has a beautiful, highly aromatic nose of bright red cherry, rose petal, floral, and baking spice, plus hints of attractive orange zest. It's full-bodied, well structured, and dry with lovely red cherry, earth, and floral flavours that are harmonious. It's juicy with well-balanced acidity, while the ripe tannins are integrating nicely and very approachable already. Finish is long and juicy. Should evolve nicely over the next 10 years. Score: 93+ pts
