As expected, and aligned with previous notes. Like all previous bottles and vintages, this was a fabulous representation of Oregon PN.
On this occasion, and maybe because of the longer decant, this was somewhat less floral on the nose and less cherry/raspberry on the palate....( but hard to discern having had a flu and sniffles for a month!) Additionally, it seemed a little more "closed or austere" at this juncture. Likely going through a character growth/change wave?
After tasting a few vintages of this name, it's apparent vintage matters....
Double decant 7 hours for corkage dinner.

My first time tasting a Zephirine from Rose Rock. I have tasted the estate recently and I enjoyed it. I popped and poured, and then I began frowning. On evening one it was a jammy fruit bomb. I thought that I was drinking Cherry Coke. On evening two the wine had mellowed considerably. It is a very nice, very Burgundian like Pinot. Is it worth $59 a bottle? $45 would be better.

Aromas of ripe fruit including cherry and raspberry. Taste also features ripe (but not overripe) fruit flavors plus some deeper/earthier notes. Well balance/integrated with longish finish.

As previous bottles, this is really fabulous!
Will wait a bit to drink again. Will get better over several years.

Have said much on this Zephrine.
It's fabulous, and even better when Santa visiting.
It's getting more rounded with bottle age.
