Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 92.5 points

  • Easy to drink, smooth, low acidity.
    Dry, but not too much.
Tannins are present but not tight at all.
Nose is quite impressive for this calibre.
Hints of red fruits, a little vanilla and some mint at the end cherry chocolate strawberry cocoa
Suggest drinking this chilled like a PN.
    QPR: very good

  • Another grape first, dark red colour with a touch of purple. Very fine, yet strong legs. The nose is stunning, packed full of soft red fruit with a subtle hint of eucalyptus. With a wine of this depth, I was expecting tooth shattering tannins, but this is smooooooooth! There is tannin, but so fine and well balanced. The soft summer fruit is what this wine is all about and the great white pepper end takes the finish on for ages. Server slightly chilled with Xmas leftovers - loved it!
