  • Stand alone wine. Good but probably too early open. The Petit Syrah needs more time. Great color, subdued nose.

  • The wine is well balanced, full of rich berries and hints of salinity. At the beginning, we found the petite sirah (?) to be predominant, then that influence ceased to exist and seemed to meld into the Zinfandel (after ~20 minutes).

We had this with Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) and a green salad. It was perfect now, tho’ capable of aging more. Just ordered six more bottles.

  • Smells like a semi-dried, high-chlorophyll, blue-green seaweed, then notes of blackberry and lots of gravel-asphalt-salty mineral on the palate.

  • Dark crimson in color. 14.7% ABV. 73% Zinfandel, 23% Petite Sirah and 4% Alicante Bouschet. Savory nose of red fruits, citrus and flowers. Medium body with mouth watering acidity. The concentration and power are notable. Well balanced. Black cherry, cranberry, pomegranate and earth on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Rest assured that this wine is built for the long haul. Best over the next 6-8 years.
