A "cult" wine tasting and lunch (Restaurant Bak, Amsterdam, NL): Wonderfully light and bright, fresh and soft and silky, flowers and strawberries, cool minerality, hints of spice and cream, lovely intensity without weight, clear and bright and transparent, percaline tannins, very good persistence. Light transparent colour. Spicy bouquet w. sous bois and red berries. Very refreshing acidity balanced by sweeter note, quite harmonious. Chinotto, redcurrants and rhubarbs. Very good.

Very pale colour, light strawberry red; juicy and lively, supple and fresh, with attractively complex aromas of beef stew, peach, green apple, unripe strawberry, white nuts and white flowers; light to medium body (12% ABV), noticeable carbon dioxide, mild tannins, good resonance and length. About half was left in the open bottle, which I put in the cellar and retasted after two days. If anything it had improved, especially on the palate, where the fruit was softer and more succulent, and the carbon dioxide had subsided considerably.
