Much more approachable than other years. Apple, pear, tropical notes, brioche, floral tones on the nose. Apple, pear, tropical fruit, floral, brioche on the palate. medium body, good acidity, smooth finish. Showing well now, but based on previous years, may be better in another year or 2.

Apple to slightly tropical notes, baked notes of brioche, texturally a bit of phenolic extract buttresses the wine. Primary and firm at this point, not a shocker. But left in the fridge for a few days and it mellowed and had far superior poise and the fruit falling into better balance. I think this is a middle term hold. 88+

First of two. This started off a little slow, the air really helped it to fill in. The acidity was sleepy when the first glass was poured but after the air, the energy arrived. Overall I would say this is a little softer then some of the past electric years, like 2015, so I think this will drink better in the short-term while the other vintages continue to age well. Of note. I gave the server the partial bottle when we left the restaurant so this is a limited view note based on just the 90 mins I had with it.

Vibrant, exhilarating and lovely. By far the best Chardonnay in CA at anywhere near the price point.

Delicious Chard from the larger Sonoma Coast AVA. Good QPR. Throws a bit of tartrates but no big deal.
