This is a full bodied, oxidative Chardonnay. The nose is a balance of herbs and yellow oxidized fruit. On the palate, browned butter, Crème Brûlée, white chocolate chip, kiwi and mango. Caramelized apples in abundance. Finishes with white pepper, oregano and cumin with all the yellow fruits in significant abundance. Lovely wine.

This is a very well balanced Chardonnay from RYEW. Their Chardonnay offerings tend to go more to the buttery side but they all have that youthful charm about them. This one is really well balanced. Great acidic front, opens to an Asian pear and jackfruit, lychee and kiwi. Gets a little more dense in the midpalate. Finishes with good rounded character with beautiful salinity and just enough white pepper to keep this one balanced. I've got chardonnays that are 3x the price of this and don't impress as much. This RYEW "pandemic" Chard is doing well! Drink or hold 3-5 years. And, ok, I'll say it. The new label is finally starting to grow on me after a few years

this drank very well..it wasn't the oaky, buttery cal chard I feared it might be, though by no means was it lean and acidic. A nice middle ground.

Outstanding, bright, lemony Chardonnay.
