This is a pretty decent bottle of white wine. I had no idea when I was tasting, that this was a 2007 vintage. We rarely drink Sauvignon Blanc more than 2 years old, and this on is 5. Very refined. Yellow golden color. Ginger, spice, and earth, with the peach and apricot nose. The fruit and acid have fallen off a touch, but things are still holding together quite well. Almost rich. Deep. Still lively. More European than most Chilean whites. Reserved, mature finish. I'm impressed.

An average expression of the grape. grapefruit, mown hay and a woody-grassy character similar to NZ sb's. Not bad, but nothing I would purchase again; too many dynamite Sau Blancs out there right now - many of them from South America - to do that. drink now, 13.5% abv, approx $13.

This was a simple bottle but full of citrus and a great tart body. Quite full and very well balanced.

Lemon and grapefruit abound. Very crisp, clean, with a short, tart finish.
