Pnp, golden in color. Nose has stone fruits, floral elements. Concentrated on palate, apart from the floral element and hint of oak spice, it tastes almost like a matured Chablis GC. Lacking a sweet touch that would otherwise complement the wine.

Aromas of minerals, flowers, citrus and oak. Too much of the latter, though. Released more aromas after a while in the glass, but overall a bit disappointing for a Montrachet.

Similar to last time but a bit not as dense and powerful as the last bottle, with a nice white flower nose but not enough power and length to make it truly great, at a great place to drink now.

Light golden color, quite fresh citrus and nutty nose. Medium plus palate with slight honey and nuts, very long mineral finish. Good but need more time to flesh out to be truly great perhaps 1-2 more years.

Pre Auction Wine Tasting w/ lots of Sassicaia (NYC): Big wine, but most of the "bigness" comes from the oak treatment. Some interesting nutty nuances, but the oak is too big for this wine. Not having much experience with Montrachet, perhaps the oak integrates better with time?
