Dark red color. The nose and palate are overripe, woody, bitter, and pruney. Structurally, this is medium-bodied with low acidity and fully resolved tannins. The finish is long and pruney. Overall, this is a mess. It is overripe with too much american oak giving the wine a pruney profile with a bitter, wood tannin finish.

Delicious wine. No oak or fruit bomb wine. The sangiovesse stands out here. Got even better with the grilled turkey burgers we had.

A very nice bottle of wine. Complex and smooth with just enough fruit to be enjoyed alone but complex enough to have with food too.

Wonderful nose and initial mouthful of fruit, but structure was fairly weak and didn't finish with much strength.

Great by itself, but shines with food. We had Italian and this blend was perfect, enjoyed by all.
