  in spite of being almost rose in color this wine packs in a punch of flavor. quite spicy, i suspect it is complete stem inclusion winemaking (?), but it has a lovely purity of strawberry fruit to balance it out. in some ways it reminds me of the attributes i like in grappa minus the fire and heat. just when you think you know something about wine this kind of cuvee comes along to tease you and remind you that there is lots left to be discovered. I ought to get off the beaten path more often.
