Clonakilla winery (Canberra): {screwcap, 13%, A$45} Tumbarumba fruit. Restrained sandalwood aromas, subtle oak. Minimal malo evident. Bare rockmelon fruit, very dry, light/medium body, short/medium length finish. Not entirely convincing, certainly not at the price.

On tour with Tim and Phil day one (Canberra Districts and Beechworth): Lemon, little stone fruit, touch of sweet spice and sherbet. Medium plus intensity acidity, slightly sour stone fruit, a little lemon underpin, very soft burr on the mid palate, short. <shrugs>
