  I find varietal Roussanne often tastes goopy and gloppy. This feels like a new take on that the grape, and for that factor alone it merits attention.
  
  Jasmine, green apple, bitter leesyness and a hint of alcohol burn on the nose. Medium + intensity of aromas. No evidence of any oak, which works well here. The palate is much more complex, showing flavors of ripe yellow apple, lemon juice, fennel seed, clove, orange juice, banana peel and fresh tarragon. Finishes with fresh chopped parsley and baked sourdough bread. Medium + intensity of flavors.
  
  Medium body with medium acid. Probably the lightest Roussanne I've ever had. Clean and not flabby. Good pairing with a sardine pasta.

  Killing these early as the price is right and they're so easy to reach for. Killer pairing with the butternut squash soup.

  Flyer purchase from KLaz. Clementine Carter Roussanne, Mourvedre & Grenache.
  
  Roussanne is fresh, crisp and interesting.
  
  Mourvedre is young but fantastic.
  
  Grenache is going to need some time to come together but very promising.
