Blind to us, I thought it was Chablis. There is a decidedly burgundian feel to the wine. It’s chiseled, with mineral character and refreshing citrus notes, and a little sea spray. Good value around $50 and this could be a house wine as far as I’m concerned.

Hmmm...I definitely would have blinded this as Burg. I would not have been confident placing the village. Elements of Puligny (minerality), Meursault (slight saltiness) and St. Aubin (body/mouthfeel) make that challenging. Roulot's fingerprints are all over this...similar to his Bourgogne Blanc with an added touch of mint (very slight) on the finish. Regardless of its origin (Argentina), delicious stuff.
ENGLISH: Nose: Fine white and blue flowers, fresh, natural sea air, white peach, light butter, but very delicate and fresh, sage, highly elegant Taste: As in the nose, delicate white peach, sage, sea spray, lime, fine yellow apples, acidity as delicate and precisely worked out as I have never seen it before, fine herbaceous fresh finish, eucalyptus, sage, a hint of fennel tea Comment: Super delicate, fine and yet complex, with very delicate fish dishes, subtle sushi, without much or better any spice.

Nice color. The nose shows clean aromas of pastry cream, orchard fruits and white flowers. This is medium bodied on the palate with very good concentration and real class. The fairly long finish features good acid cut.

Tasted at a retailer-sponsored tasting in NYC. This is a very fleshy, yet high-acid and mineral-driven wine. Mint and herbs and light citrus on the palate. The texture is the high point. Shorter finish than expected.
